Best Wrinkle Cream
carj_81 asked:

I am 24 and am just wondering if I should start to use cream and stuff to prevent fine lines and wrinkles, do they not work until you have some or can they be used as a preventative messure? If so, what kinds are the best?

Dont use those particular creams just do your cleanse and tone routine and moisturise daily. You wont need them just yet and they wont make any real difference

Use a good moisterizer now. That way you will delay the need for them later.
Try Mary Kay Timewise, or Avon Anew (find wich Anew line is best for you).

Start now. Some work, some don’t. Talking to others who use different ones will help you determine which to try.

Start now! As long as your skin isn’t overly oily, you’re good to use about any anti-aging products. Elizabeth Arden makes a product called “Good Night’s Sleep” that is AMAZING. For the daytime, I recommend Clinique’s Repairwear Day over your regular moisturizer. It’s not heavy, it helps damage already “wrinkling” skin and protects your skin during the day. Also, remember that anything you do to your face as far as products other than makeup, you should do to your neck as well. Neglecting the skin on your neck will be a dead giveway a few years down the road when your face looks great b/c you’ve been taking care of it but not your neck.

You should just cleanse and moisturise daily. The most important thing is to stay away from the sun and tanning beds. Use a good sunscreen outside.

I started using anti wrinkle creams (not wrinkle reducer or eraser) at 23 and am now 31 and have NO wrinkles. I say wear sunscreen, mosturize with an anti wrinkle cream, and steam your face 1 time a week!

The best way to prevent wrinkles and fine lines is to USE DAILY a good sunblock. Really. The sun is the major culprit for wrinkling and fine lines because the sun’s UV rays can damage the skin, making it age more rapidly than usual. In short, sun damaged skin looks older.

You might want to try GODIVA GREEN TEA SUNBLOCK. It has SPF25 and really offers broad-spectrum protection (its active ingredients is ZINC OXIDE). Plus it has Green Tea extracts, which is a really good anti-oxidant.

i would say start using creams that prevent wrinkles before you even get them. maybe mid twenties or early thirties. depends on how much sun you come into contact with. sun causes premature aging so you be the judge on whats best for you. but definatley by the time your thirty!!

The best prevention at your age is to use a sunscreen EVERY DAY!!!! I started using SPF in my early twenties and avoided the sun except once a year on vacation and there is a big difference between my skin and my sun loving friends. I am 35 and have no wrinkles yet. Don’t over do it with AHA and BHA. A cleanser should do one thing, cleanse. So use something mild that removes makeup and keeps you soft. I love the cleanser by Wexler at Bath and Body Works. It is expensive, but as a cheaper choice Neutogena products are generally good. For a toner, I like thayer’s witch hazel formulas which can be found at whole food and drug stores. At night use an anti oxidant serum for you skin type before your night cream. Any regimen is better than none. To prevent those wrinkles, sunscreen, sunscreen, sunscreen!!! Good luck and happy aging!
